Hunger Games: Session Template
[ You find yourself in your respective unit's zone, with a mini-map on your phone, as well as your objectives:

Kill as many competitors as you can.
Destroy zones by breaking their statues.
Not enough action = We start killing you :)
Underneath the objectives is the number of revivals you have left, as well as whatever miscellaneous details about scoring points—killing a unitmate results in negative points, five units will be healed at most, etc.
The starting horn sounds. Let the games begin. ]

SCHOOL
Bloom Nobly, Ink-Black Cherry Blossoms
There's corpses buried beneath the cherry trees! You've got to believe me. How else can you explain the mesmerizing beauty of the blossoms and the movement of the roots that seek to drink the blood straight from your body?
Full Mechanics:
The roots of the cherry trees begin to writhe wildly, breaking free from the earth and devastating the school as the trees seek out fresh blood. They snake impossibly far, and they're coming straight for you…!
Everyone attempting to exit the area this event is active in must make the following Agility or Speed roll:
1-6: The vines find you and constrict you - they strangle and break flesh and crush bone and drink your blood as it splatters to the ground, growing wildly out of control.
Take 4 damage. You cannot leave the area, and must reroll this event. Bloom Nobly, Ink-Black Cherry Blossoms activates in a random adjacent area.
7-9: It's like the above but less bad.
Take 2 damage. You cannot leave the area, and must reroll this event again to do so.
9-11: It's like the above but you escape.
Take 2 damage. Suffer from Hobbled (Physical), lowering Endurance and Speed by 2.
12+: You prove there aren't any corpses under the cherry trees the roots are just hungry because they weren't watered recently dumbasses who even runs this school
Deactivate Bloom Nobly, Ink-Black Cherry Blossoms in this area.
You Slipped My Mind! (I Slipped My Mind, Too!)
The dead have learned how to walk! You've got to believe me. How else can you explain the empty graves and the stench of death that draws ever closer?
Full Mechanics:
The whole world's a coffin,
we live in a grave and die in a grave!
The zombies are correct, so stomp your feet,
live a happy death and die again!
If you've got memories left, say adieu to your heart,
and welcome to this lively graveyard!
The character in the area with the lowest Speed must make the following Speed check:
1-7: The very happy and excited zombies bite and tear at your flesh. More importantly, you're starting to think they might be right? It's just way easier to just think about things you like and not things you don't like???
Take 4 damage. You suffer from Brainrot causing you to lose 3 Agility and Adaptability, as well as the ability to think about things without thinking about that thing you like and are interested in. Brainrot can only be cured by eating a Power Bracelet. You wander aimlessly off to a random adjacent area.
8-10: Take 3 damage. You suffer from Brainrot, as above. The zombie wanders aimlessly off to a random adjacent area.
11-12: Take 2 damage. The zombie wanders aimlessly off to a random adjacent area.
13+: Hey, wait a minute! That's not a vicious brain eating zombie, that's just that kid from the poetry club who only thinks about poetry and eating everything she sees!
Deactivate You Slipped My Mind! (I Slipped My Mind, Too!) in this area.
IN ADDITION:
If not engaged for 15 minutes, the zombie will wander to a random adjacent area.
Didn't You See The Skulls?
There's a ghost haunting the toilet stalls! You've got to believe me. How else can you explain the crying, or the fact that everyone who goes in to see who it is never comes out?
Full Mechanics:
What's that? Huh? Toilet? What's going on with that toilet?
Everyone entering or in the School must make the following Adaptability check:
1-6: A GHOST HAND pops OUT OF THE BATHROOM and SHOVES YOUR FACE in the TOILET
WHO'S THE BULLY NOW, LOSER?!?!?
Take 3 damage. You are afflicted by Swirlie (Mental), which fills you with shame at your inadequacy and lowers Agility and Adaptability by 2.
8-10: SHE SHOVES YOU IN THERE. YOU JUST GET A FUCKING FACEFUL OF TOILET WATER oh wait where are you going nooo she's not done with her revenge yet 😢
Take 3 damage. You are pushed through the toilet pipes (?!) and end up being dumped into the Underground Sewer.
11+: "Oh, wait. You're just like me, aren't you? They hurt you too, didn't they? Hey, let's work together!"
You are haunted by Hanako, who compels you to bring the next non-unitmate you meet to the School to meet her. By force, if need be.
