[ You find yourself in your respective unit's zone, with a mini-map on your phone, as well as your objectives:

Kill as many competitors as you can.
Destroy zones by breaking their statues.
Not enough action = We start killing you :)
Underneath the objectives is the number of revivals you have left, as well as whatever miscellaneous details about scoring points—killing a unitmate results in negative points, five units will be healed at most, etc.
The starting horn sounds. Let the games begin. ]

CONSTRUCTION SITE
A Constant Constricting Embrace
TRAPPED! BLED DRY! STRANGLED ALIVE!
Full Mechanics:
The cables littering the ground...something's wrong with those cables! They hiss like snakes, rearing up to coil around your ankles, dragging you to the ground…
Upon entering the Construction Site or any adjacent area, make the following Adaptability or Agility check:
1-4: You are swarmed by a feral group of thick cables, which entrap and electrocute you!
Take 2 damage. You must roll again for this event.
5-7: You are swarmed by a feral group of thick cables, which entrap and electrocute you!
Take 1 damage. You must roll again for this event.
8+: You escape the cables...mostly.
You are afflicted by Foreverially Tiedup, lowering Adaptability and Speed by 1.
My Armor's Stronger Now (You're Not Getting In)
CRUSHED BENEATH THE HEELS OF THE MACHINE!
Full Mechanics:
A dark shadow is cast over the Construction Site. A massive mecha descends to the ground, sirens blaring loud enough for all to hear.
The Man has heard about your little "lunch break" and does not approve. Work will continue until the work is done, even if the work has to be beaten out of you. Honestly, what are they even paying you for?
If you are in the same area as the mecha, roll the following Power or Agility check:
1-7: The mecha unleashes its
STRIKEBREAKER on you, slamming a sharpened stake directly into your body.You take 2 damage and are knocked into a random area (anywhere on the map). You suffer from BROKEN (Physical), causing you to take 2 damage per action (movement, checks, ability use, or combat actions). BROKEN can be cured by having any healing item or ability used on you.
8-9: You fight the mecha admirably, but ultimately lose when it hits you with its ELBOW DESTRUCTION.
You take 3 damage and are afflicted by Elbow Destruction (Physical), lowering the stat used to make this check by 2. You are forced to flee to a random adjacent area.
10-11: You evade the mecha, but it locks on and fires its main weapon, the SIC SEMPER REBELLIBUS.
You and everyone else present in the area are peppered with several rooms. Take 2 damage. Satisfied you are now helpless, the mecha moves to a random adjacent area.
12+: RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE
IN ADDITION:
If the mecha is not engaged for 15 minutes, it will automatically move to a random adjacent area.
Flower of Iron, Shriveled Up
THEY WATER THEIR CROPS WITH OUR BLOOOOOOOD [ FIVE MINUTE GUITAR SOLO ]
Full Mechanics:
As you near the Construction Site, steel trees begin to rain serrated, rusted petals upon you. These petals blow in the wind as if they're as light as an actual flower, spreading to the rest of the city.
Upon entering the Construction Site or any adjacent area, make the following Speed check:
1-4: You are slashed by the petals, spilling your blood upon the ground! Another tree sprouts from that spot, and immediately begins blossoming.
Take 4 damage and become inflicted by Tetanus (Physical), decreasing Endurance and Power by 1 and Agility by 2.
IN ADDITION:
If you were in an area that does not already have Flower of Iron, Shriveled Up active, this event becomes active in that area.
5-7: You are slashed by the petals, but manage to endure the worst of it.
Take 2 damage and become inflicted by Endurance, Power and Agility by 1.
8+: You are slashed by the petals, but it hardly hurts at all. Still, you feel strange…
Take 1 damage and become inflicted by Tetanus (Physical), decreasing Agility by 1.
