Hunger Games: Session Template
[ You find yourself in your respective unit's zone, with a mini-map on your phone, as well as your objectives:

Kill as many competitors as you can.
Destroy zones by breaking their statues.
Not enough action = We start killing you :)
Underneath the objectives is the number of revivals you have left, as well as whatever miscellaneous details about scoring points—killing a unitmate results in negative points, five units will be healed at most, etc.
The starting horn sounds. Let the games begin. ]

ABANDONED MINES
Old King Coal
NEXT EPISODE: Unbreathable Air! It's Time To Cough Our Lungs Out!
Full Mechanics:
As soon as you even get near the mine, it's clear the air is full of lung-destroying particles. You'll die in here…! Your 16 hour workday flashes before your eyes, as you remember the time you were a poor coaldust-covered child (?????)
Everyone in or entering the Abandoned Mines or Mountain's Edge must make the following Endurance check:
1-5: You double over and begin coughing violently. This is surely the end…
Take 5 damage. You suffer Severe Blacklung (Physical), being wracked by horrible coughing fits that cause all stats to be lowered by 2.
6-7: You cough a little. You'll get through this.
You take 2 damage and suffer Blacklung (Physical), which causes 1 damage per action until cured.
8+: You cough up your lungs, as they have liberated themselves like the mitochondria they are (?!?!?!).
You take 1 damage. Your lungs seem to be fine actually even though they're definitely on the ground in front of you.
Hall of the Mountain King
NEXT EPISODE: Violent Molten Inferno! The Terrifying Winged Flameking Of The Depths!
Full Mechanics:
THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN HAS AWAKENED!
ITS ROAR REVERBERATES THROUGH THE CAVERNS, SHAKING THE EARTH FOR MILES AROUND!
THIS MINE AND ITS TREASURES BELONGS TO THE KING, AND ALL INTERLOPERS SHALL BE BURNED AND DEVOURED ALIVE!
Everyone in or entering the Abandoned Mine or Mountain's Edge must make the following Power or Agility roll:
1-6: You fail to fight the dragon at all, and it bites down on your body, tearing at flesh and muscle. You are then shaken like a ragdoll in its jaws and tossed far from its domain.
You take 7 damage. Move to a random area anywhere on the map.
7-9: You fight the dragon, but are eventually consumed by a torrent of molten precious metals and flame. You manage to avoid the worst of the effects, but you're still badly burnt. You have to escape! Perhaps to the safety of the WcDonald's? Surely the King would not trepass on Lonard WcDonard®'s scared soil…!
You take 4 damage and are forced to move to either the Forest's Edge or the WcDonald's. You suffer from Burn (Physical) and lose 1 Endurance per action.
10-11: You bravely fight the dragon to a standstill, but it's clear you can't win… You've got to flee, but it rises into the sky after you as you exit the mine!
You take 1 damage and suffer from Burn (Physical), losing 1 Endurance per action. Enraged, the King flies over a random area on the map and burns it, causing everyone present in that area to also suffer Burn (Physical).
12+: You defeat the King in single combat, and it returns to its slumber deep beneath the earth.
If the King is not engaged for 15 minutes, it will burn a random area on the map with the same result as rolling a 7 or 8 on this event.
Once Was A Coal Pit (Now It's A Water Ride)
NEXT EPISODE: Serene Aquatic Moneypit?! Time To Go Splashin' In The Deepest, Darkest Abyss!
Full Mechanics:
As you enter the Abandoned Mines, a sudden torrential downpour (from indoors?!) floods the coalpits, turning them into waterpits. Some of the corridors in the mine form rushing rapids as a result. Be careful to not fall in!
Everyone located in or entering the Abandoned Mines must make the following Agility check:
1-4: You lose your footing and fall into one of the waterpits and begin suffocating as you're carried away by the relentless stream!
Take 3 damage, and move to a random adjacent area with a currently active event.
5-6: You're blasted by a torrent of pressurized coalwater, sending you flying straight out of the mine!
Take 1 damage and move to a random adjacent area.
7+: You're blasted by a weak stream of warm water, which mostly just disorients you.
You are afflicted by Sunsplash and lose 6 Adaptability on your next Adaptability check.
